ACCOUNT MANAGER

Catalina Software is a leading logistics software provider based within easy reach of Ely and Cambridge. Our innovative solutions are delivered via app, web and desktop, all delivered by our in-house team of talented developers. We have been established in the marketplace for 22 years and our focus is on providing a professional and responsive service to our customers, building strong internal teams to work alongside our customers as trusted partners.

The first point of contact for all customers, this is a pivotal role in the organisation and requires a talented individual with outstanding people skills. Full ownership of all customer relationships, providing support and guidance to ensure the customer experience always surpasses expectations. This role would suit a dynamic, articulate and diligent individual who will go the extra mile to deliver solutions and great service. Supporting customers to grow their business, working with them to offer strategic solutions and maintaining our reputation as a valued and innovative partner.

This role would suit someone with proven technical/B2B account management experience and plenty of enthusiasm. A genuine passion for working in partnership with customers to deliver real value to their business and to ensure they are always kept up to date with progress and new developments. Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain excellent customer relationships
  • Provide frequent and high-quality updates to customers on not only their individual accounts but on company news, product developments and industry updates
  • Hold regular on-site account management meetings with all customers ensuring they are well organised, succinct and meaningful
  • Work closely with internal teams to resolve any service issues and ensure SLAs are met
  • Respond to customer enquiries for new integrations or functionality, and work with colleagues to action
  • Manage feedback from customers provided at meetings, or through customer surveys, and report back to the business to assist with new development activity and service delivery enhancements

Requirements:

  • Proven account management experience in a technical/IT/software environment
  • Team player
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Must be available to travel

Salary: £35 – £45K dependent on experience

Software Developer

We are always keen to hear from talented developers to join our team. If you can produce high-quality efficient code then we want to hear from you!

Within this role you will be given scope to use your existing programming knowledge, to help shape and improve our current solutions, as well as playing a key role in designing and implementing important new projects. In order to be successful in this role, you must have a passion for technology, with a willingness to share your ideas and knowledge across the team.

 

 

Main responsibilities:

  • Producing quality solutions based on user requirement documents
  • Assisting in the production of technical specifications/plans for larger projects
  • Owning and managing your own time to complete projects to a deadline
  • Code reviewing other developers work
  • Mentoring and supporting other members of the team
  • Bug fixing
  • End to end testing of new development and providing clear concise testing instructions to other areas of the business

Requirements:

  • Self-driven and organised individual
  • Ability to manage time efficiently
  • NET
  • C#
  • Oracle SQL or similar
  • HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery
  • Version control (Git or similar)
  • Visual Studio
  • A team player
  • Be able to communicate problems/solutions effectively in a non-technical manner to other areas within the business

Beneficial Skills (but not essential):

  • Bootstrap
  • PHP
  • Java
  • Experience working with SCRUM / Agile and Atlassian products

Salary: £24 – 40k dependent on skills and experience.
