Project & Implementation Manager

6 month contract – with the potential to become a full time permanent role for the right candidate

We are a leading logistics software provider of innovative solutions on app, web and desktop, all delivered by our in-house team of talented developers. We have been established in the marketplace for 23 years and our focus is on providing a professional and responsive service to customers. We work with the very latest technologies and are progressive in our approach. We work smartly, with a strong supportive team ethic. We have some exciting innovations planned for 2021 and beyond so why not join us?

Acting as the project lead for the business, the Project and Implementation Manager will be a driven and commercially astute individual with the responsibility for managing customer projects, system implementations and upgrade rollouts. Working closely with customers to ensure their requirements are met and delivered within deadlines. The successful candidate will add value by highlighting ways to streamline and enhance operational processes with bespoke pieces of work as well as overseeing the delivery of new products.

This role is responsible for both internal and external projects and the successful candidate will have a proven background in project management, a keen eye for detail and an IT or technology background would be a distinct advantage. Our Freedom software is extensively configurable and so the ability to manage the implementation of products that are non-standard is essential, alongside an ability to understand and map customer business processes and to develop and propose solution designs. The capability to develop excellent relationships both with customers, external partners and colleagues is extremely important and knowledge of the software industry would be beneficial.

We understand that you value your work/life balance and we have a bunch of great things to help you achieve this including the remote working, consideration to part-time hours and a generous holiday allowance. We also love social events where we can all get together outside of work.
